Is SponsorChange.org available in places other than Pittsburgh, PA
We love Pittsburgh and so far we are only located here. As we grow and raise funds, we will expand to
other high demand cities. If you are interested in being apart of the expansion plan, please email
info@sponsorchange.org, with " expansion plan" in the subject line.
What Can I do in the meantime?
Volunteer. Continue to exercise your passion by working at your favorite non-profit. Offer your skills to
them, they can use it! Show them how to sign up for SponsorChange.org. Be sure to stay in touch with
the SponsorChange.org community by joining our social networking pages at Facebook, Ning, Twitter
and Linkedin.
Can I choose my preferred non-profit to work with?
Based on your profile we attempt to make matches when they exist. It's always easier to match and
sponsor change agents who are already doing work at non-profits.
How am I selected by sponsors?
Our sponsors are passionate about helping non-profits increase their impact in the community. You
are an integral piece to the puzzle. Sponsors look to select Change Agents and Non-Profits who are
most aligned with their passions.
Can I choose my own sponsor(s)?
Yes! We encourage you to invite your friends, family, and other affinity groups to sign up to sponsor
your service.
How much will I get paid?
Our Sponsors will reward $10-$20 per hour, depending on the level of skill needed to complete the
project
Will you ever sell my information?
We will never sell your information. Guarding your confidentiality is part of our privacy policy.
When will I get sponsored?
You will get sponsored once we receive a sponsor match for you. We encourage you to invite your
friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you.
How will I be notified that I am being sponsored?
We will email and call you. Please make sure you have provided us with your most up-to-date contact
information.
Will you pay my student loan directly?
Yes! Once you are sponsored, you will provide us with your student loan account information so that
we can make direct payments upon completion of your service project.
What is the time commitment?
Change Agents typically work anywhere between 8 - 10 hours a month, however, you can work as little
or as much as you want, depending on how much your sponsor(s) has/have budgeted for you.
How will I be selected?
Non-profits have the final say on who is selected for their projects. They will conduct a standard
interview with you.
What can I do while I wait to be chosen?
